GENDER: Female SPECIES: Vampire SEXUALITY: Straight ALIGNMENT: She was turned to be part of bad things but she wants to be good PERSONALITY: Bree did not like being a vampire, although she adapted quickly to her new life. She found it hard at first as nobody told her about the rules of being a vampire and she had no idea that there were vampires that enforced the rules When she was newly turned, the only thing she new about vampires was from the information she had read in books while being human. At first, she was afraid of the sun, silver and wooden stakes. When she discovered that these items couldn’t harm her, she was relieved. She actually found the way her skin sparkled fascinating when she went into the sunlight. Still, she avoided the sun as much as possible in fear of drawing attention to herself. Bree is quiet and shy. She prefers to keep her own company as opposed to socializing and this is due to the fact that her father abused her before she ran away. She is a curious girl and she satisfies her curiosity by reading. While she was with Victoria’s newborn army, she would read when she was bored and to keep out of trouble and she always did what she could to avoid unwanted attention. Bree has shown self-control as a newborn. She still finds the scent of human blood irresistible. She still feeds from humans but she doesn’t get the bloodlust that newborn vampires typically get. When Carlisle and Esme Cullen discovered her as she hid behind a tree during the battle between the newborn army, the Cullens and the wolf pack, she was terrified. She thought that they were going to kill her just like they had the other newborns. When Carlisle and Esme offered her protection for her surrender, she gratefully surrendered herself. She had a difficult time resisting Bella’s blood but Jasper kept her away from Bella. After Jane passed her ordered for Bree’s death, she remained calm. She was very appreciative of the Cullen’s kindness and desire to protect her and she thanked Edward using her thoughts, as she knew he was a telepath. ABILITIES: Like other vampires, Bree possesses superhuman strength and speed, possesses sharper senses, endurance, fast reflexes, the ability to heal and agility. Being that she is a newborn, she is at her strongest in her abilities. Bree shows uncharacteristic self-control as a newborn. WEAKNESSES: Like other vampires in the Twilight universe, the only way to kill a vampire is dismember them and burn the pieces with fire. Because she is a newborn, Bree is always thirsty and craving blood. CANON POINT: After the battle with the newborns, after she was killed. WHY HAS YOUR CHARACTER CAUGHT THE EYE OF THE COLLECTOR?: Bree has caught the Collector’s attention because he wants to give her the opportunity to have a second chance. Bree was turned against her will to be used as a pawn in another vampire’s scheme for seeking revenge. The Collector has decided to give Bree the second chance that the Volturi wouldn’t.
